Join us at Neal's for presentation party night!
After searching the ancient texts for ways to learn about our friends and teach something we're passionate about, we stumbled upon the ancient Assyrian emperors. They used Microsoft powerpoint to convince everyone to be their friends who, in turn, gifted them all their land. So effective!
We're not on a conquest (yet) but we do want to know more about everyone, so here's the prompt we're running with:
Teach us a skill that you used to be bad at/eluded you. At some point you learned or experienced something that sparked changed. Now you would consider it a strength or point of pride.
We're equally after the story as we are to learn about your mini expertise!
We're aiming for 3-7 minutes, this should be a topic that you can go into a decent bit of detail or teach a fundamental that you think is key.
Obviously it's no hard grade or limit but we want to get through everyone in about an hour.
Check the attached document for an example of the structure we're looking for! I'll also send out a video of an example presentation if there's any confusion. This will be easy and fun no need to stress.
